Privacy & Data Protection Policy
At Vimis Gold and Refinery, the privacy, security, and confidentiality of our clients are our highest priority. We recognize the sensitive nature of personal and financial information entrusted to us and maintain strict internal safeguards to ensure its full protection.
1. Confidentiality of Client Information
-
All personal information provided by clients—including identification documents, passports, utility bills, account details, vault documentation, or any related materials—will be treated as strictly confidential.
-
Under no circumstance will this information be released, disclosed, or shared with any third party without the explicit written consent of the client.
2. Next of Kin and Third Parties
-
As part of our strict privacy policy, no next of kin, relative, associate, or third party shall have access to a client’s personal documents or records, except for basic vault details to which a next of kin is entitled.
-
Requests for further client details from next of kin or other parties will not be honored unless expressly authorized by the depositor.
3. Internal Access Control
-
Access to client records and stored documentation is strictly limited to authorized personnel within the company.
-
Employees are legally and contractually bound by confidentiality agreements and face disciplinary and legal consequences for breaches.
4. Data Security
-
Client data is stored securely in compliance with industry best practices and international data protection standards.
-
Both physical and electronic safeguards are applied to ensure there is no unauthorized access, sharing, or misuse of information.
5. No Sharing, No Exceptions
-
Personal documents—including passports, ID cards, proof of address, contracts, and related information—will not be sent, transferred, or disclosed to any individual, regardless of their relationship to the client.
-
This rule applies equally to next of kin, family members, business partners, or other associated parties.
6. Legal Compliance
-
The company fully complies with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
-
Information will only be disclosed if required under law or by valid order of a competent court or government authority.
7. Release of Gold Bars
-
Gold bars or any assets stored in the vault shall not be released to the next of kin or any third party unless all outstanding vault charges and storage fees have been fully paid in advance.
-
This ensures that company obligations are met before any transfer of client assets.
8. Change of Ownership Documents
-
No change of ownership documents, transfer records, or related documentation will be processed or handed over to the next of kin (or any other party) until all vault debts and outstanding charges have been fully settled (which must be done by the NEXT OF KIN)
-
The company will not process partial settlements for this purpose.
9. Company Account for Payments
-
The company’s official account details for settlement of outstanding vault debts or related charges shall be made readily available to the legal counsel of any party who wishes to make payment on behalf of a client.
-
This ensures that payments are handled securely, transparently, and only through legitimate legal representation.
